Max Borghetti, a Latin GRAMMY-winning and nominated composer, is a prodigious musician and producer. Born in the Dominican Republic and proud of his Italian heritage, Max has devoted his life to sharing his dynamic music and energy with the world.
His exceptional talents span playing the accordion, composing, DJing, playing the guitar, writing lyrics, playing the piano, producing music, and mastering the keyboard. His career is marked by significant achievements, including 31 Diamond certifications, 183 Platinum certifications, and 12 Gold certifications. He has broken 216 global certification records, with 88 RIAA certifications across various discographic productions, affirming his status as an accomplished producer, instrumentalist, and DJ in the realm of electronic/pop music, based in Italy.
Max’s influence is also evident through his impressive streaming statistics, boasting over 16 billion plays across his collaborative works. His debut studio album, ARIES, released in 2022, featured hits such as “Mi Señorita,” “Uno Para el Otro,” and “Periódico del Ayer,” earning recognition on Spotify’s Viral Hits and Hits Italiane playlists. This project was supported by Danny Ocean, who helped secure ARIES a deal with his label, Red Wine, a subsidiary of Warner Music Latina, marking a pivotal milestone in Max’s career.
In 2017, under the alias FRNDS, Max produced a widely celebrated remix of “2U” by David Guetta and Justin Bieber, amassing around 6 million combined views on Spotify and YouTube. His versatility and talent have led to collaborations with stars like Abraham Mateo, Aitana, Andrés Cepeda, Anuel AA, Arcángel, Bad Bunny, Cardi B, David Guetta, DJ Snake, Drake, ECKO, Enmanuel, Feid, Fey, Justin Bieber, Marco Antonio Solís, Mijares, Mora, Ozuna, Selena Gomez, Yuridia, and more.
In 2017, Max produced and composed “Síguelo Bailando” by Ozuna (RIAA 13 Platinum), a major hit from the album Odisea. The album received critical acclaim, won several awards, nominated as the Best Urban Music Album at the Latin GRAMMYs, and achieved multi-platinum status in numerous countries, including a Diamond certification in the United States. Nominated by Billboard as one of the 100 Greatest Albums of the 2010s, ranking at #92.
In 2018, Max Borghetti produced the hit song “MIA” by Bad Bunny featuring Drake, a significant milestone in his career. This track was the first Spanish-language song to top the U.S. Apple Music charts and formed part of Bad Bunny’s debut album X 100PRE. It peaked at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached number 1 on the Hot Latin Songs chart. It was certified 5x Diamond by the RIAA in the U.S., with 3 million units sold. Internationally, “MIA” earned multiple platinum certifications, including 3x Platinum in Spain and 2x Platinum in Italy. The album X 100PRE won the Latin Grammy for Best Urban Music Album and was praised for pushing the boundaries of Latin music.
Additionally, Max contributed to the production of “Taki Taki” by DJ Snake, featuring Selena Gomez, Ozuna, and Cardi B, also released in 2018. This global hit reached number 1 in several countries’ charts and was certified multi-platinum in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia, among other territories. Its infectious rhythm and catchy lyrics dominated dance floors and international music charts, racking up billions of streams worldwide.
In February 2018, Max also collaborated with the supergroup Pulse, comprising Piter-G, Cyclo, and Zarcort, on the track “No hay mañana,” serving as producer for this project that marked the group’s debut with a unique blend of rap and Latin rhythms.

During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Max worked with Anuel AA on “Nubes Negras,” a track from Anuel’s second album, EMMANUEL. He also collaborated on “Llorando en un Ferrari” from Anuel’s third album, LLNM, in 2021, which debuted at number 1 on Spotify’s Top Albums Debut Global chart. In 2022, he contributed to ''Brother'', ''Coroné'' & “Tiene Novio” from Anuel’s fourth album, LLNM2, earning nominations for the 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards and Premios Tu Música Urbano.
In 2022, Max also served as arranger and producer for “Starlight” by the South Korean girl group Dreamcatcher, featured on their album Apocalypse: Save Us. This album was named by Time magazine as The Best K-pop Songs and Albums of 2022 So Far (Albums) and sold over 136,000 units in South Korea, solidifying its global impact in the K-pop market.
That same year, Max worked on a remix of “Light Switch” by Charlie Puth for a remix contest hosted by LabelRadar, a Beatport subsidiary, in partnership with Atlantic Records and Warner Music, achieving a notable second-place finish that underscored his prowess as a producer in the global electronic scene.
Mix his print on the EDM global radio track "Vocation" by Ozuna with French DJ David Guetta, was released simultaneously with the album on November 17, 2023, with first ever performance at the 2023 / The 24th Annual Latin Grammy Awards ceremony, showcasing their energy and undeniable chemistry on stage. At the 2024 Latin American Music Awards, the track was nominated for Crossover Collaboration of the Year, competing against tracks like Niña Bonita by Feid and Sean Paul, which ultimately took home the award, also the song was nominated as - My favorite "dance track" at the 2024 Premios Juventud. - In 2025, the song earned a nomination at Premios Lo Nuestro in the Urban Collaboration of the Year category, highlighting its influence within the urban music scene.
In 2023, he achieved worldwide fame with the release of “DEMO #5: nostalgia,” a track created with artificial intelligence by MauryCEO under the stage name FlowGPT, featuring the voices of Bad Bunny, Daddy Yankee, and Justin Bieber. This song became a viral sensation on TikTok, leading to additional versions with J Balvin and Bad Gyal.
