Roosie is a Dutch DJ and producer with roots planted firmly in the golden era of house music. Starting her career at a remarkably young age, she quickly built a reputation that took her across the Netherlands and beyond, sharing stages with some of the biggest names in dance music, including a then up-and-coming Martin Garrix (known at the time as Marty), DJ Chuckie, and the iconic duo Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano. Her production talent was recognised early on when she landed an official remix for global superstar Alicia Keys, a milestone that cemented her place as a serious force in the studio as well as behind the decks.
In 2014, Roosie made a deliberate choice to step back from the spotlight and pursue a new direction in her professional life. But music never left her. Driven by a genuine passion rather than industry pressure, she has continued writing and releasing tracks that reflect exactly who she is as an artist, no compromises, no trends chased.
Her sound is a love letter to a time many have forgotten. The years between 2005 and 2009 represent her personal peak of house music, and that era lives on in everything she creates, a richly textured blend of jackin' house, tech house, and disco that feels both timeless and distinctly hers. It's music with soul, with swagger, and with movement at its core.
That same philosophy carries into her DJ sets. Roosie is a storyteller first. Rather than leaning on familiar hits for an easy reaction, she builds journeys, crafting sets loaded with tracks most crowds won't recognise but won't be able to resist. High danceability is non-negotiable; surprise is guaranteed.
For Roosie, the music has always spoken louder than the moment. And it still does.
