Peter Wadams, known professionally as P-Money, was born on February 25, 1978 in New Zealand and is a DJ and producer. He began his career through DJ competitions and student radio. In 2004, he released his second studio album, Magic City, which reached number 2 on the RIANZ New Zealand Singles Chart. The album included collaborations with artists such as Akon and Scribe, and featured the single "Stop the Music", which became P-Money's first solo Number 1 hit in New Zealand. In 2008, he released the single "Everything" featuring Vince Harder, which topped the New Zealand Singles Chart. He has won several awards, including Best Producer at the 2004 RIANZ Music Awards and Songwriter of the Year at the APRA Silver Scroll Awards in 2004. P-Money co-owns Dirty Records, a label he formed in 2002.
