Agnelle Marcelle Marie Bundervoët was a French pianist born on October 12, 1922, in Ambert. She began her musical education at the Conservatoire de Marseille and later enrolled at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris at age 13, earning multiple first prizes by 1940. Bundervoët's career took off post-World War II as a soloist with major symphonic ensembles. She became a prominent figure at Radiodiffusion française and won the Grand Prix International du Disque in 1955 for her Bach recital, leading to an exclusive contract with Decca Records. She released albums featuring works by Liszt, Brahms, and Schumann. In 1956, she began teaching at the Conservatoire de Versailles. Bundervoët composed several piano pieces and melodies. She passed away on February 14, 2015, in Vaucresson.
