André Roligheten, born on January 2, 1985, in Skien, Norway, is a jazz saxophonist and composer. He started playing the saxophone at age eight and earned degrees from Trondheim Musikkonservatorium and the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. Roligheten gained recognition through bands like Albatrosh and Team Hegdal, collaborating with musicians such as Andrew D'Angelo and Theo Bleckmann. His debut solo album Homegrown (2017) was released under Clean Feed Records. He has performed at festivals including Moldejazz and Kongsberg Jazz Festival, touring extensively across Europe, Asia, and the United States. Roligheten received the Young Nordic Jazz Comets Soloist prize in 2008 and the Norwegian Grammy Spellemannprisen for Jazz with Team Hegdal's Vol.3 in 2015.
