B3 is an American boy band from New York City that was founded in 2001 and disbanded in 2004. The band initially consisted of Timothy Andrew Cruz (born January 2, 1979, New York City), John Steven Sutherland (born March 11, 1983) and Rod Michael (born February 17, 1981, Pennsylvania). After Rod Michael left the band in 2002, Blair Madison Late (born April 18, 1982, Odessa, Texas) joined the group. B3 is particularly successful in Germany and plays music in the teen pop, dance-pop and pop-rock genres. Their debut album First was released in February 2002 and reached number 15 in the German charts. It contains cover versions of Bee Gees songs, including the singles "You Win Again" (number 19 in Germany) and "I.O.I.O." (No. 4 in Germany), which stayed in the charts for 23 weeks. The second album N.Y.B3 follows in March 2003 and reaches number 12 in the German charts. It contains the singles "You're My Angel" (No. 13) and "We Got the Power" (No. 41). The third and final album Living for the Weekend is released in September 2004 and reaches number 57 in the German charts. The singles "Move Your Body" and "Can't Fight the Feeling" reach number 33 and 43 respectively. B3 receive a gold record in Germany for "I.O.I.O.". The band gives their farewell concert on December 11, 2004 in Oldenburg.
