Aschenputtel was an Austrian pop rock group formed in 2005. The ensemble consisted of Roumina Wilfling, Barbara Pichler, and Meike Garden. In 2005, the project placed third in the competition Ö3 Soundcheck 2005. Following this appearance, the group released the single “Ich kann dich heilen”, which reached number 10 on the Austrian chart. Later that year, the ensemble released the single “Zauberland”, which reached number 33. Wilfling worked as a songwriter with the group Papermoon, and Pichler performed with the ensembles Jamcake and Carouge. Garden represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 1988, where she reached number 14.
