Tency is a Guadeloupean rapper born in Abymes and raised in Baie-Mahault. He began his musical career in 2006, first trying his hand at dancehall with his friends from Block 33, before moving on to trap. In 2013, Tency made a name for himself with the tracks"An Ray" and"Workina", in collaboration with his cousin Railfé. In 2020, after a period of absence, he returned in force with the track"Gwada Side", produced by Mufasa, which became a veritable anthem in Guadeloupe. The same year, he released the track"18 Carats" featuring Gambi G, which became one of the biggest trap hits in the Antilles.
