Marianne Weber is a Dutch singer of the 'levenslied' genre, known in the Netherlands and Flanders. In the early 1990s, she formed the Holland Duo with Jan Verhoeven and released three albums, the third of which received a gold record. She achieved major commercial success through her collaboration with Frans Bauer, releasing a duets album in 1997 that sold around 300,000 copies, with the single "De Regenboog" becoming a Number 1 hit in the Dutch Top 40. The duo also released Wat Ik Zou Willen in 2000. In 2008, she and Bauer were featured in the reality series Frans & Marianne and performed a concert series at Ahoy. In 2021 she indicated plans for retirement, which she confirmed in 2022.
