Grace, a British electronic music act, was formed in 1993 and consisted of DJs Paul Oakenfold and Steve Osborne, along with jazz singer Dominique Atkins. The group initially went by the name State of Grace but shortened it to Grace after discovering another act with the same name. Their first single, "Not Over Yet", originally released in 1993 and re-released in 1995, featured lead vocals by Patti Low. This track became one of their most notable hits, peaking at Number 6 on the UK Singles Chart and topping the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in the US. The group's only album, If I Could Fly, was released in 1996 and included a re-recorded version of "Not Over Yet" with Atkins on lead vocals. Other significant singles from Grace include "Skin On Skin", "Down To Earth", and "I Want To Live". The group disbanded in 1997 due to Oakenfold's increased touring commitments as a DJ. Despite their short lifespan, Grace achieved seven Top 40 hits in the UK and left a lasting impact on the 1990s dance music scene.
