Recording artist, songwriter, and worship leader Laura Hackett Park lives in Kansas City with her husband, fellow songwriter Jonas Park, and their four young children. She writes and leads worship for congregations around the world and has led weekly at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City since 2003. To date, she has led over 10,000 hours of live worship.
From childhood, Laura has been inspired to sing and write music out of her conversations with the Lord Jesus. “When I feel the Holy Spirit prompt me with a certain phrase or theme,” she says, “I write a lot about it because it’s my way of processing the revelation. The music keeps me in touch with my emotions, the lyrics with my mind and thoughts, and my voice keeps me in touch with my whole person.”
Her passion for worship, music and songwriting comes from her desire to minister first to Jesus Christ, and out of that place draw others closer in relationship and conversation with Him.
In 2019, Laura and Jonas launched independent music company Arrowhead. In 2020, she signed as an artist, aiming to multiply ministry to the Lord through “love songs to Jesus.”
Following a history of rich music releases, Laura’s latest with Arrowhead, @Til The Morning, features songs to strengthen one’s walk while waiting for the greater morning of His return. “The more I turn to Him the more He draws near to me and reminds me that while we wait for the “greater morning” of His second coming, I am never alone.”
