The Alpine is a Danish rock group formed in 2002 in Aalborg. The ensemble emerged from the high school band “Aroma” and independently produced the promo album World Record in 2002. In 2005, the group appeared on the television program MTV A CUT, finishing in second place in a competition to support Anastacia on tour. During the production in London, the band recorded the single “Mondays Look the Same” at Abbey Road Studios. The track reached number 8 on the Danish chart in December 2005. The group performed in Germany in April 2005 and mid-2006. The debut studio album, On Feel Trips, appeared in April 2006 alongside the single “Trigger”. The ensemble released a second studio recording, There's Only So Much You Can Do, in May 2008. The group consisted of Peter Boesen, Mikkel Brynildsen, Ida Strand, Bjarke Monrad, and Simon Kringel.
