The Nude Party is a seven‑piece American rock band formed in Boone, North Carolina in 2012 by Austin Brose, Alec Castillo, Shaun Couture, Patton Magee, Don Merrill, Connor Mikita, and Jon “Catfish” Delorme. After meeting in freshman dorms at Appalachian State University, the group began jamming in a lake house, quickly gaining a local following. Their debut EP Hot Tub (2016) introduced the single "Chevrolet Van", which attracted attention from Alex Turner and led to a signing with New West Records. They released the self‑titled album The Nude Party (2018), followed by Midnight Manor (2020) and Rides On (2023); the latter produced the charting single "Ride On" (Number 20 Adult Alternative Airplay). The album Look Who's Back saw its release in February of 2026. The band toured extensively, supporting acts such as Arctic Monkeys, Jack White, and The Black Lips, and performed at festivals including Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo.
