Ogün Sanlısoy, born on March 12, 1971, in Gölcük, Turkey, is a Turkish musician, vocalist, and guitarist. Introduced to music by his mother at age eight, Sanlısoy began playing electric guitar at 17 and had his first stage experience during his university years. In 1992, he joined the thrash metal band Pentagram (known as Mezarkabul in Turkey), replacing vocalist Bartu Toptaş for their second studio album Trail Blazer. Sanlısoy won the "Best Male Rock Singer Soloist of the Year" award from Hıbır and Rock magazines in 1993 and 1994. He left Pentagram in 1995 to pursue a solo career, releasing his debut solo album Korkma in 1999. His second solo album, O Gün, was released in 2004 under Sony Music and included the hit song "Saydım". In 2006, he released Üç.
