Sear Bliss is a Hungarian atmospheric black metal ensemble from Szombathely formed in 1993. The group was established by András Nagy and Csaba Tóth. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style incorporating wind instruments including the trumpet and trombone. Their recording career began with the demo recording The Pagan Winter (1995), followed by a three-album contract with Mascot Records. They released the debut studio recording Phantoms (1996), which was named the title of "CD Of The Month" by Aardschok magazine. In 1997, the ensemble conducted a European tour alongside Marduk. Their discography includes the studio recordings The Haunting (1998), Grand Destiny (2001), and Forsaken Symphony (2002). They released the studio recordings Glory and Perdition (2004), The Arcane Odyssey (2007), and Eternal Recurrence (2012). Their recording career includes the studio recordings Letters from the Edge (2018) and Heavenly Down (2024).
