Gallowstreet Brass Band, a brass band from Amsterdam, Netherlands, was formed in 2012. The group initially gained traction by performing at various festivals such as Pitch Festival and Eurosonic Noorderslag. Their first single "Hattori" was released in 2015, followed by their debut album Battleplan in November 2016. In February 2018, Gallowstreet organized a sold-out HONK! festival at Paradiso Amsterdam and released their second album Hot Lava Sex Machine in May 11, 2018. The band collaborated with Pynarello for a performance at the Concertgebouw in August 2019. By the end of 2019, they announced a shift to a smaller formation. Notable releases include Our Dear Metropolis (March 2020), Our Dear Metropolis Remixes (November 2021), and Laaglands (March 2023).
