PVR Raja, born Penumatsa Venkata Ramaraju on June 1, 1985, in Vizianagaram, is an Indian music composer and guitarist. He completed a degree at Andhra University in 2005 and studied at Maharajah's Government College of Music and Dance before working as a music teacher at various institutions. In 2011, Raja received the Andhra Pradesh state award for guitar at the National Youth Festival. He debuted as a music director in 2014 with the short film Arya 3. Raja composed scores for over 250 digital short films and independent films, earning the nicknames “Short films Maestro” and “Ilaiyaraaja of Short films”. His credits include the feature films Jandhyala Rasina Prema Katha (2017) and Madhi (2022), as well as the album Maaya (2019). In 2021, he released the song “Vennela Vacche Padhamani”.
