Caramel, born Ferenc Molnár, is a Hungarian singer of Roma descent who began his music career by participating in the second season of Megasztár in 2004. After narrowly winning over fellow contestant Tamás Palcsó, Caramel released two albums in 2005: a compilation of songs from Megasztár and his solo debut album Nyugalomterápia, both reaching Number 1 on the MAHASZ charts. He held his first release concert in December 2005 with other notable artists. In 2006, he released Újrahangolva and continued to produce albums in subsequent years. Caramel participated in multiple music shows as a judge, including the Hungarian version of The Voice and Az ének iskolája. He was also selected as a contestant for A Dal 2012 with "Vízió", finishing as one of the top four by televoting.
