SCYCS, a five-member rock band from Magdeburg, Germany, formed in 1993. Their musical style evolved from punk roots to energetic, melodic pop-rock. The group initially gained traction by winning the second place at the F6 Music Award in 1997, a significant East German competition for young musicians. This breakthrough led to the release of their hit "Next November" in November 1997, followed by appearances as supporting acts for Eros Ramazzotti and Peter Maffay, and guest roles on popular TV shows such as Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten and Unter uns. SCYCS released their debut full-length album, Pay TV, in 1999. Their second studio album, Honeydew, was released in 2000 under WEA Records and featured the hit single "Radiostar", which reached Number 10 on the Airplay charts. In 2003, they released Play it Loud through HEARTDISCOrecords, with the single "Music". Despite plans for a 2006 album release, no further material was published by SCYCS after this time.
