Soldier began his musical journey exploring various genres, including experimental music, worldbeat, classical music, and alternative rock. He is known for founding ensembles like the Thai Elephant Orchestra, the Kropotkins, and the Soldier String Quartet, and for composing in avant‑garde, classical, and jazz idioms.
