Farmer Boys, a German metal band from Stuttgart, was formed in 1994 by Matthias Sayer, Dennis Hummel, Alexander Scholpp, Till Hartmann, and Ralf Botzenhart. Their debut album, Countrified, was released in 1996 under BMG Ariola and featured themes related to farm life. The band's second album, Till the Cows Come Home, released in 1997, showcased a stronger thrash metal influence. In 2000, Farmer Boys released their third album, The World Is Ours, which reached number 27 on the German Album Charts. After a hiatus, Farmer Boys returned in 2016 and released their fifth album, Born Again, in 2018.
