Final Breath, a thrash/death metal band from Lohr am Main in Germany, was formed in 1993 by Michael Imhof on vocals, Thomas Böttcher and Steffen Diel on guitars, Thomas Wissel on bass, and Heiko Krumpholz on drums. The group released their first demo, Soulchange, in 1995, followed by the self-financed EP End of It All in 1997. Their debut album, Flash-Burnt Crucifixes, was produced with Andy Classen and initially self-released before being picked up by Gutter Records. After a series of lineup changes and label disputes, Final Breath released their second album, Mind Explosion, under Nuclear Blast in 2002. The band's third album, Let Me Be Your Tank, was published by Remedy Records in 2004. Following a hiatus, they returned with new vocalist Patrick Gajda and released Of Death and Sin via Metalville Records in 2018.
