Suman Gharti, known professionally as Slim Boss, is an Nepalese rapper and songwriter. He is known for his hyperactive public persona.
Raised on hardcore rock and punk bands such as Anti-Flag, NOFX and Nirvana, Suman Gharti fell in love with hip-hop after hearing Yama Budhha and MGK and began writing raging, furious rhymes as a teenager. He lived in India as a child for 3 years and later he moved to Nepal with his parents. and getting his big break in Kathmandu when he signed a contract for a national level rap battle show (Raw Barz) in Nov 18/2017. Taking the stage name Slim Boss from Yama Budhha, he featured on Nepal Television Plus (NTV+) when he was 17.
playing up to a wild rock star lifestyle, Slim Boss's early mix tape 'Kalo Sansar' was recorded at his home studio in Baglung, while his high energy live shows caused a stream of controversy.
