Remo Speroni, known professionally as Remo Germani, was born on May 31, 1938, in Milan, Italy, and was an Italian singer and actor. He began his career as a singer in 1957 while working as a bank cashier. In 1962, he signed with Jolly Records and released his first hit single, "Baci". Germani achieved notable success with the song "Non andare col tamburo", which reached number 3 on the Italian hit parade in 1963. He released the debut album Baci (1963), followed by the album Remo Germani (1965). Between 1964 and 1967, Germani participated in four editions of the Festival di Sanremo and appeared in musical films, including I ragazzi dell'Hully Gully (1964), Come inguaiammo l'esercito (1965), and Questo pazzo, pazzo mondo della canzone (1965). In 1978, he moved to Vigevano and founded Radio City Ducale. He became a dance orchestra leader in the 1980s and released the album Germani 90 (1990). Germani died on October 18, 2010, due to diabetes.
