Ladyfuzz, a British rock group formed in England in 2004, emerged from the local alternative scene with a trio of young musicians who began writing and performing in local venues. Their breakthrough came with the single "Monster" released on 28 November 2005, followed by "Bouncy Ball" that same year, which established their presence on independent radio playlists. The band’s debut album, Kerfuffle, was issued on 3 April 2006 through Transgressive Records, accompanied by the EP Oh Marie on 3 July 2006 and the Kerfuffle EP on 6 November 2006, all of which showcased a blend of energetic guitar work and melodic hooks. In 2007, Ladyfuzz received a nomination for the FM4 Award at the Amadeus Austrian Music Awards, marking a significant recognition of their growing influence. The group disbanded in 2007.
