This Day & Age was formed in Tonawanda, New York in 2001 by Jeff Martin, Peter Arcara, Steven Padin and Kelly Sciandra, with Joseph Secchiaroli joining later to replace Kenneth Campbell. Their debut full-length album Start Over on Monday appeared in 2002, followed by a 2002 signing with One Eleven Records and the release of Always Leave the Ground (2004), which earned airplay on alternative stations and a spot on the Warped Tour. In 2006 the band issued The Bell and the Hammer. After Jeff Martin left to teach at Renaissance Academy, the band ceased activity thereafter.
