Phuture 303 was an American acid house group from Illinois, formed in 1996 by DJ Spank Spank, also known as Earl Smith Jr.. The group's lineup included Roy Davis Jr., L.A. Williams, Damon Neloms (also known as Professor Trax), Ron Maney (also known as DJ Skull), and Rio “The Musician” Lee. The group released its debut studio album, Alpha & Omega, in 1996. This was followed by several notable singles, including "Acid Soul" and "Phreedom!" in 1997, and the 1998 collaboration "Hardfloor Will Survive". The group released its second full-length album, Survival's Our Mission, in 2001. Additionally, the group produced remixes for artists such as DJ Pierre and Zzino vs. Filterheadz between 1999 and 2002. Phuture 303 became inactive in 2013. In 2014, DJ Pierre and Smith reunited with Lee to perform under the name PHUTURE.
