Victor Grimmy Owusu, known professionally as V.I.C., was born on July 20, 1987, in Corona, Queens. He is an American rapper who began his musical journey at the age of ten by writing a drug awareness rap for his elementary school. At that time, he moved with his family to College Park, Georgia. After graduating from high school, V.I.C. worked as a freelance barber while pursuing a music career. In 2008, V.I.C. released his debut single "Get Silly", which reached Number 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This breakthrough led to the release of his first and only studio album Beast, which charted at number 73 on the Billboard 200 under Warner Bros. Records. His subsequent single "Wobble" also gained significant attention, becoming one of his most recognized tracks. V.I.C. recorded songs for a second album titled Revenge of the Beast, but it was never completed. He continued to release singles, including "Twerk It" in 2012 and "Snapchat (Pose For The Camera)" in 2015. Throughout his career, V.I.C. collaborated with various DJs on mixtapes such as DJ J1 Present V.I.C. in HD, DJ Jay Rock Presents V.I.C. Lord Ova Beats, DJ Grady Presents V.I.C. Swagg Thru da Roof and others.
