Śmierć Kliniczna was a Polish punk rock band formed in Gliwice in 1981 by Dariusz Dusza on guitar, Wojciech Jaczyczko on bass guitar, Marek Czapelski on drums, and Jerzy Mercik as vocalist. The band gained prominence alongside other early punk rock groups such as Dezerter, KSU, and Brygada Kryzys. Their breakthrough came with a performance at the 1982 Jarocin Festival and the following year, Jacek Szafir joined as a second vocalist. Śmierć Kliniczna played several notable concerts, including appearances at the Opole Festival and Rockowisko in Łódź. Notable releases include "Nasza Edukacja" (1983) and "ASP/Jestem Ziarnkiem Piasku" (1984). After performing at the 1984 Jarocin Festival, Śmierć Kliniczna disbanded. Following the split, Dariusz Dusza formed Absurd, while the remaining musicians founded Reggae Against Politics (R.A.P.). In 1996, Zima Records released their self-titled album as a cassette tape, which consisted of live recordings from 1983-1984.
