Hi Fi and the Roadburners were an American rock band from Chicago, formed in 1984. The group was known for its rockabilly-infused punk sound and bebop and boogie-woogie influences. Brothers Erik "Hi-Fi" Kish and Hans Kish were the only constant members throughout numerous line-up changes. They released their first single "Be Bop Boogie+Petty Crime" which included tracks like "Bring It Up High" and "Riot In Cell Block No. 9". The band signed with Victory Records in 1993 and released several albums including Demons of Wicker Park (1993), Fear City (1994), Wine, Women and Sin (1996), Live In Fear City (1997) and Flat Iron Years (1998). Notable songs include "Hurricane", "Rocket To Mars", and "Mary Ann". Frontman Erik "Hi-Fi" Kish died following a motorcycle accident in 2011.
