Antonio Prestieri, known professionally as Maldestro, and born on March 11, 1985, in Naples, Italy, is a singer-songwriter. He began his career studying piano but later focused on theatre. In 2013, he released his first songs, "Sopra al tetto del comune" and "Dimmi come ti posso amare", which won multiple awards. His debut album Non trovo le parole was released in April 14, 2015, earning the second prize at Targa Tenco for Best Debut Album. In 2017, Maldestro competed in the Sanremo Music Festival with "Canzone per Federica" and released his second album I muri di Berlino. His third album, Mia madre odia tutti gli uomini, was released on November 9, 2018.
