Christophe Le Menn, known professionally as Krismenn, and born on March 14, 1981, in Landerneau, France, is a singer-songwriter and rapper who performed primarily in the Breton language and gained recognition for blending traditional Breton music with modern genres like hip-hop and electronic music. Le Menn's musical journey began at age ten when he played the snare drum in the bagad Plougastell. His early influences included the brothers Quéré and Louise Ebrel, leading him to explore kan ha diskan, a traditional Breton singing style. In 2011, Krismenn released his debut EP Krismenn E.P. Krismenn has performed at major festivals such as the Vieilles Charrues and the Festival interceltique de Lorient. In 2014, he won two awards at Babel Med Music in Marseille.
