Ines Adler is a German schlager and pop musician born on 6 April 1963 in Hennigsdorf. She began her musical journey in 1980 with an appearance on the television program Sprungbrett. During the 1980s, she toured the German Democratic Republic alongside artists such as Andreas Holm. Her career was paused following the political transition of the Wende until she began collaborating with Neuend-Production in the 1990s. Adler released her debut studio album, Ich schleich mich in dein Herz (1994), and received the Goldene Stimmgabel award in 1996 for the single “Nimm einmal noch meine Hand”. This track was a cover of the Céline Dion song “Think Twice”. She subsequently signed with the eastwest label and released the studio album Ich war so lange nicht verliebt (1998). The track “Ich war so lange nicht verliebt” (1996) served as the theme for the television production Die Unbestechliche. Adler later released the singles “Wilde Herzen – Süßes Blut” (2001) and “Wie ein Film” (2006). She joined Daxhill Studios in 2009.
