Jade Aurora MacRae, born on June 4, 1979, in London, England, is an Australian singer. She began learning piano at age three and violin at eight, later studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. MacRae's early career involved backing notable artists like Renée Geyer and Jimmy Barnes. In 2004, she released her debut solo single "You Make Me Weak", peaking at number 46 on the ARIA Charts. Her breakthrough came with "So Hot Right Now" in February 2005, reaching number 18 on the ARIA Charts. Later that year, MacRae released her self-titled debut album, which included the single "Superstar", peaking at number 32. In 2007, MacRae toured Australia with Deborah Conway and others, releasing her second album Get Me Home in October 2008. In 2012, she adopted the pseudonym Dune for a more alternative sound, releasing the EP Oh Innocence. Returning to her original name, MacRae released Handle Me with Care in June 2020, preceded by singles "Up Above Your Head", "I Choose Love" and "Midnight Air".
