Goldband is a Dutch pop trio originating from The Hague, comprising Boaz Kok, Karel Gerlach, and Milo Driessen, who formed the group in 2019 while collaborating with producer Wieger Hoogendorp. The trio first gained attention with early singles such as “Uber Uber” and “Mijn Stad” in 2019, followed by the EP Rommel (13 April 2023). Their debut album Van de Roulette naar de Doublet was released in January 2020, and the second album Betaalbare Romantiek followed in 2021, earning them the 3FM Talent award on 19 June 2020 in the categories “best group” and “best album”. The single “Noodgeval” entered the Dutch Top 40 and the NPO Radio 2 Top 2000 in 2022, reaching number 55 and also charted in the Ultratop 50 in Flanders. In 2022 the band performed at Lowlands, Pinkpop, and Zwarte Cross, and in 2023 received the Buma Cultuur Pop Award (Popprijs) during Eurosonic Noorderslag. Subsequent releases include the single “You & Me” (28 March 2024) and the forthcoming album Samen Tegen Elkaar (2024). The group has maintained a steady presence in the Dutch pop scene through consistent releases, chart successes, and festival appearances.
