It was Whoopi Goldberg's performance in Sister Act that inspired the beginning of Robyn's career in music. UK-born and Amsterdam-based, she’s been steadily carving out her place in modern soul with performances at Paradiso, Melkweg, and festivals including LagoLago, Summer Sickness, and Popronde, alongside support across BBC Radio.
Her debut EP Réverie (2023) introduced her signature blend of serenity and allure, exploring love, grief, and infatuation. She now returns with Crush Culture (2025), a collaboration with artist and producer DAVIES that fuses groove-driven production with explorations and archetypes of desire.
The project kicked off the year with a release show at Cinetol in Amsterdam in January. With Crush Culture on the horizon, Robyn has evolved her sound into something more seductive, textured, and unmistakably real, offering hints of where she’ll take her next project.
