Peter Frödin is a Danish singer, actor, and comedian who was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1964. He achieved early professional recognition in 1984 as an actor at Merkurteatret and is famous for his membership in the comedy ensembles Lex & Klatten and Det brune punktum and for the hit single "Vent på mig" (2001). Frödin established a reputation as one of Denmark's leading vocalists through his work with these groups, which produced multiple radio hits. Recorded with Jimmy Jørgensen for the film En kort en lang (2001), the track "Vent på mig" became the most-played song on Danish radio between 1995 and 2010 and won the Robert Award for Best Original Song. His discography includes a collaboration on the Bent Fabricius-Bjerre studio recording Jukebox (2004). He is also widely recognized for his recurring roles in national television advertisements and for co-founding the touring comedy production Zirkus Nemo alongside Søren Østergaard. Frödin has appeared in numerous films, including Hannibal & Jerry (1997) and En kort en lang, and provided the voice for the Sultan in the animated film Hodja fra Pjort (2017). In 2015, he joined the judging panel for the television program Danmark har talent.
