Liza Li, born Liza Fee Wilke on March 30, 1988, in Düsseldorf, Germany, is a German singer. At the age of 14, she left home and began her musical journey by performing with a band. Her breakthrough came with her debut single "Ich könnte dich erschießen", released in September 2006, which was followed by her first EP Sterben in November 2006. The song was written by Thorsten Börger, who had also penned hits for Tic Tac Toe and Falco. Her debut album 18, released in December 2006, featured the single "Ich könnte dich erschießen" and explored themes of love and violence from a young woman's perspective. The music video for this song was partially filmed at the Wild at Heart punk-rock club in Berlin-Kreuzberg. In February 2007, Liza Li released her second EP Zum Glück macht Liebe blind. In November 2007, she began working as a moderator for the television channel VIVA, co-hosting the show Straßencharts with Sebastian König. She also appeared in other shows on VIVA, such as VIVA Special Charts and VIVA Top 20. Her last notable appearance was in March 2009 when she participated in the Wok-WM for TV total as part of the MisterLady Team. In 2010, Liza Li took part in the reality show Solitary – Besieg dich selbst!*, finishing as the runner-up.
