The Boomers, a Canadian indie rock band from Toronto, was formed in 1991 by Ian Thomas (lead vocals, guitar), Bill Dillon (guitar), Peter Cardinali (bass), and Rick Gratton (drums). Their debut single "Love You Too Much" was followed by the album What We Do, both released on WEA in 1991; although modest in Canada, the record sparked a successful tour in Germany. In 1993, the band issued Art of Living, featuring the hit single "You've Got To Know" produced by Paul DeVilliers, which entered the Canadian charts. The 1996 release 25 Thousand Days appeared on Alma Records, followed by Midway in 2002.
