An Albatross was an American noise rock band from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, U.S., formed in 1999 by Jake Lisowski, Edward B. Gieda III, Chris Abbott, Jason Hudak, and Phillip Reynolds Price. They recorded the demo “1.) Sex 2.) Bird 3.) Cake” (1999). The band’s albums included Eat Lightning, Shit Thunder! (2001) and We Are the Lazer Viking (2003). In 2008, the band released the album The An Albatross Family Album (2008). An Albatross performed at the Pop Montreal festival in 2017.
