EU, a Russian electronic music group formed in 1997 in Saint Petersburg, consisted of Sasha Zaitsev and Ilya Baramiya. The duo initially gained recognition with their debut album Untitled released in 1999. EU's discography expanded rapidly with subsequent releases such as Улучшенная планировка, Тут Так, and EU_Soft. EU also released several EPs, including Tuner (2001) and Mandarines (2003). The group's final album, Сегодня ты становишься ракетой, was released in 2010. EU disbanded in 2013, leaving behind a significant body of work that continues to influence the electronic music scene.
