CheChe is a Japanese four-member band formed in 2020 by friends born in the year 2000. Blending elements of Britpop, UK rock, funk, dance, and indie rock, the group creates a distinctive sound shaped by all members contributing to songwriting and composition. Their debut single "Wait a minute" was released in May 2022, followed by their first EP Bab in April 2023, which marked the start of active live performances. With a strong DIY spirit and creative chemistry, CheChe quickly earned attention in Japan’s indie scene. In 2025, they continued to expand their reach with the release of the EP Waves on February 5. That was followed by digital singles "ARCH" on April 16 and "Spotlight" on May 21, showcasing their evolving sound and refined production style. Their energetic and emotionally resonant live shows have become a key part of their appeal, highlighted by their self-produced event CheCherish Vol.2, held on May 31. The band consists of Haruhi (vocals), Dagabazi (guitar, chorus), Tatsuki Yamada (guitar), and Ibuki Kishimoto (bass).
