“This is just 'The Initial Movement', the 'Progressive Movement' will soon follow and whatever comes after that will be impossible to measure or calculate” - Lord Mayor The Movement Crew, founded in January 2019 in Bloemfontein, South Africa by Lord Mayor and Lelo Gruv, is a South African House Music production crew comprising of two members who are also producers. The crew members, Lelo Gruv, who works with production and is the mastermind behind beats and arrangements, and Lord Mayor who composes and directs the music with concepts, chords, melodies, tones, bass lines and patterns, have combined their skills and strong passion for house music to produce authentic and original compositions of soul soothing instrumental house music. The first two tracks, "Walk of Life (Original Mix)" and "Perfect Delight (Original Mix)" have some nice jazzy and soulful house feel about them and say a lot about the style of production the crew is. The third track, "Timeless Memories (Original Mix)" reminds you of the production style of well known djs like DJ Rocco. The complementary harsh saws and leading sine waves makes this track worth listening to and is something your top djs in town would love to incorporate in their mixes. Only 5 tracks were released on this album, although about 10 were produced. The Crew promises its fans a polished 15-20 tracks album in October 2019, and believe that it will be massive as they have some hot unreleased material in the studio.
