The Sheila Divine, a Boston-based rock group formed in 1997 by Aaron Perrino on vocals and guitar, Jim Gilbert on bass, and Shawn Sears on drums. The band released their self-titled EP in 1998 under CherryDisc Records, winning the 1999 WBCN Rock & Roll Rumble. Their debut full-length album New Parade, released in 1999 by Roadrunner Records, featured the college radio hit "Hum". The band's second album, Where Have My Countrymen Gone, was released in 2001 on Co-Op Pop Records. Following a rigorous touring schedule, the band announced their breakup in April 2003 but reunited for several shows over the years. The Sheila Divine regrouped in 2010 and released The Things that Once Were in 2015, followed by The Morbs (2015) and The Beginning of the End is Where We'll Start Again (2019).
