XP8 was an Italian electronic group from Rome formed in 2001 by Marco Visconti, Marko Resurreccion, and Paul Toohill. They self-released their debut album Forgive (2003) on MP3.com before signing with Black Flames Records, which reissued the album as Forgive[n] (2004). They released the EP RE_Productions (2004) and their second album, Hrs:Min:Sec (2005), which peaked at number 3 on the German Alternative Charts. Toohill left in 2007. Their third album, The Art of Revenge (2008), included their first music video for the title track, "The Art of Revenge". They toured extensively across Europe and North America. Their fourth studio album, Drop the Mask (2010), received critical acclaim. They released the albums X: A Decade of Decadence (2011) and Adrenochrome (2013) before disbanding in 2014, citing dwindling interest in alternative/industrial dance music. In 2021, Visconti and Resurreccion reunited for a one-off EP, TWENTY (2021), celebrating the project's 20th anniversary.
