Zhang Xianzi, born 22 April 1986 in China, is a Mandopop singer of Zhuang ethnicity who performs under the stage name Xianzi. After studying dance at Guangxi Art College, she was discovered by Taiwanese producer Zihong Chen in 2005, leading to her first major exposure through a collaboration with Will Pan on the single "I Have to Love" from his 2006 album The Expert, which brought her popularity across Mainland China and Taiwan. She released her self‑titled debut album 弦子首張同名專輯 on 30 October 2006, followed by the album 天真 on 8 April 2010. Subsequent singles, including "七秒的爱" (3 August 2018), "不輕" (20 December 2018), "上山下" (14 November 2019), and "时间独白" (10 May 2024), maintained her presence on Mandarin charts. Zhang Xianzi received a nomination for Best Rookie Singer at the 2007 Golden Melody Awards, marking a significant milestone in her career.
