Cookies, a Hong Kong pop group formed in 2002, originated under EMI Hong Kong with nine members, including Stephy Tang, Kary Ng, Theresa Fu, and Miki Yeung. The group released their first single "Heart to Heart" in 2002, followed by the EP Happy Birthday. That year, the members all appeared in the film Nine Girls and a Ghost and the web series Blue Can's Most Pain. In 2003, management shifted to Gold Label Entertainment, reducing the lineup to four and rebranding them as Mini Cookies. The new lineup released their first album, 4 In Love, in 2004, and the mini-album 4play the same year. The group ceased regular activity in 2005, with members pursuing solo careers. The group won several awards, including the New Hit Combo Silver Award at the 2002 Metro Radio Hit Awards and the Silver Award for Most Popular Group at the 2004 Top Ten Chinese Gold Songs Award Ceremony.
