Grave, a Swedish death metal band formed in 1988 under the name Corpse and later renamed Grave in 1988. The band was founded by vocalist and guitarist Ola Lindgren who is their only constant member. They released their debut full-length album Into the Grave in 1991, followed by You'll Never See... in 1992. Bassist Jonas Torndal left the band, leading to a lineup change with guitarist Jörgen Sandström switching to bass. The band's third album, Soulless (1994), blended groove elements into their death metal style. In 2008, Grave returned with Dominion VIII, stepping back to old-school death metal roots. Their eleventh studio album, Out of Respect for the Dead, was released in October 2015.
