Happy Clappers were a British house studio project from the United Kingdom active between 1995 and 1997. The group consisted of Chris Scott, Graeme Ripley, Martin Knotts, and Mark Topham, with Sandra Edwards on vocals. Their debut recording was the single “I Believe” (1995), which reached number 7 on the UK Singles Chart upon its second re-release. Subsequent recordings include the singles “Hold On” (1995), which reached number 27, “Can't Help It” (1996), which reached number 18, and “Never Again” (1996), which reached number 49. The ensemble released the album Games (1997), which failed to achieve chart success. A remix of “I Believe” by American producer Chris Cox (2002) reached Number 1 on the US Club Play chart. The project became inactive in 1997.
