Omnikrom is a Canadian hip hop and electronic ensemble formed in 2006 in Montreal. The group consisted of MCs Jeanbart and Linso Gabbo and producer Figure8. The trio released the EP FM2: 24 Pouces Glacés in February 2006. In June 2006, the ensemble performed at the FrancoFolies de Montréal, where its lyrics received media scrutiny. The band signed with Saboteur Records and released its debut studio recording, Trop Banane!, in 2007. The album received the Prix Félix for Hip-Hop Album of the Year at the ADISQ Gala and an award at the GAMIQ Awards. The recording included the track “Danse la poutine”, featuring the group TTC. The ensemble released the album Comme à la télévision in 2008 and the track “Dans tes rêves” with Cœur de pirate in 2010. Its discography also featured the studio recording Pitché dans le WOW (2012).
